On Sunday the 15th July the world Cup finals took place.The two teams(Croatia and France) fought for the victory of the world cup.In the end France won! The score was 4-2 to France.These are the goal scored for France, Mario Mandzukic (which was an own goal),Antonie greizmann,Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe and then 2 people scored for Croatia Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic.If you want me to blog more things comment down below!

In the holidays i'm going to Blackpool with my family as I've only been once before when I was 2 I don't remember much so if anyone has anything fun to do in Blackpool or you are going to Blackpool yourself than please comment or come and tell me. I am also going to Birmingham with my Nan to watch Matilda the musical in the Birmingham hippodrome and go shopping in the bull ring I don't have any other plans but more than likely I will have a sleepover at my grandparents and at my friends house. if you have any plans than let me know!

So, this World Cup was very eventful, with England playing Belgium twice (in the group stage and for 3rd place. England lost twice) and Croatia rising really high up. However, it was France who nabbed the win. It's only the second time they won, however, some of the expected champs who had won before knocked out. England was knocked out by Croatia in the semi-finals, in the round of 16, Russia beat Spain with penalties, also in the round of 16, France beat Argentina, however, Uruguay was beaten by France again in the quarter-finals. As for Italy, they didn't even make it in the World Cup and Germany was beaten by South Korea in the group stage. What an upset! Brazil was beaten by Belgium in the quarter-finals. Well, it seems to be the Europeans who over-run the World Cup, well let's see who exactly qualifies for Qatar 2022.

England last night lost 2-1 against Croatia in the semi finals.The young team missed their chance of winning their second World cup.At first Kieran Trippier scored a free kick.Then Croatian's player Ivan Perisic scored in the 68th minute.Then moments later in the 109th minute Croatia's player Mario Mandzusic scored to win 2-1.So maybe football isn't coming home!

On Tuesday 3rd of July England played their match against Columbia.If you saw my last blog you will see that I predicted 2-1 however it didn't end up like that it was 1-0 to England then Columbia's player Yerry Mina scored in the 3rd minute of extra time.Before you knew it, it was penalty's.First Columbia's player Falcalo took the penalty and scored,then Harry Kane took his and scored,Carlos Sanchez scored the second goal for Columbia.Then,Marcus Rashford scored the goal for England to make it 2-2 on penalty's,then Bacca for 3-2 to Columbia but in the end it was 3-4 to Columbia.
P.S:They also wrestled Harry Kane in the penalty area but we still got a penalty and the player got a yellow card.

Harry Kane has scored 2 times against Tunisia the first one in the 11th minute and 2nd in the injury time one hour and 31 minutes into the match.Then vs Panama John Stones scored in the 8th minute then Harry Kane scored a goal which was a penalty in the 22nd minute.Minutes after Jesse Lingard scored in the 36th minute.Suddenly John Stones scored another goal to make the score 4-0 then just before the whistle was going to blow for half time Harry Kane scored yet again another penalty.Then 1 hour and 2 minutes into the game Harry Kane scored a goal.

On 28th of June England played Belgium.Unfortunately for England they lost 1-0 to Belgium.Adnan Januzaj scored for Belgium in the 51st minute.Loftus-cheek had an amazing opportunity to score but he took a touch instead of shooting and missed the opportunity to score.In the end we are now playing Columbia tonight.Good luck England.

England and Poland were having a football match in the world cup. Kamil Glik got really injured because Harry Kane kicked a ball and hit him and he fell and broke his knee so he was taken to the hospital. A random player called Dawid Kownacki came in in a football shirt that said his name and Kamil Gilk's number! He started to play,after a couple of hours of football he went red. He was furious! No body knew why. He came off the pitch for no reason and went into the changing room he came out and purposely kicked Marcus Rashford in the stomach! He got told to leave be refused and kept playing.The police came and stopped the match. he said he was an old football player that broke his knee and got kicked in the stomach.Apparently he was doing it for a TV show.The police searched that TV show on there phones and could not find it.They lifted there heads up to talk to him but he was gone!They asked people if they saw him leave but no body did they all said they were looking up the TV show. There was a little kid who saw him leave but was shy and as soon as the police came on that line he ran to his uncle. his uncle asked him to go away.When they went out and let the match carry on. Dawid Kownacki crept in with a costume on that looked like Kamil Gilk and the match was still going no body realised until his wig fell off and some one grabbed him and waited for the police to come he was finally captured and was sent to prison for 3 years.

On the 24th June , England played Panama and won 6-1.That them made England go through and Panama had to go back to their own country.There are a lot more games to go in the World Cup and we have to cross our fingers.

England have so far won both of their matches however we still have to face Belgium this Thursday.The last 2 games England have won both their games.We won 2-1 against the team/country.However, Tunisia were dirty players by wrestling Harry Kane down in the penalty area plenty of times.Also,the goalkeeper faked his injury so his team could break Ramadan fast.Then when Kyle Walker for England accidentally elbowed one of the Tunisia's player in the eye he fell over like a fairy and pretended to be injured then suddenly he's celebrating like he had just magically recovered.Then when they didn't touch him he scored the winning goal.
Now Panama, they too were wrestling Harry Kane in the penalty area.Faking their injuries and we thrashed them 6-1.Harry Kane scored a hat-trick and Jesse Lingard,John Stones scored 2.An amazing game I reccomend to watch it.

England have won both of their games. England's first match was against Tunisia winning 2-1. The first goal was a corner with someone getting their head on the ball with the goal keeper saving it but it went straight to Harry Kane tapping it in the corner. Next Tunisia scored unluckily by a penalty. Walker went to header the ball but accidentally pushed someone over in the box. The penalty was nearly saved by the new England goal keeper Jordan Pickford. The last goal got England the win,it was another corner crossed into someones head going out but Harry Kane was there and headed it into the goal.
England won 6-1 against Panama and Lingard scored after doing hype a dance from, Fortnite. Harry Kane scored 3 goals and 2 goals against Tunisia, that puts Harry Kane on top with the most goals scored this world cup.

Who do you think will win the world cup?
It could be any team, but i think either Brazil, England or Germany have a good chance of wining the World Cup this year. I think England has the best chance over all because, they have been doing really good, (since the past World Cups they have been really terrible,no offence). Also, England have won 2-1 to Tunisia and also 6-1 to Panama. So i have a good feeling that England will win the World Cup. On Thursday, it's going to be a exciting match...England Vs Belgium.

As you all know, Tom Palmer has been writing a story called 'Defenders'. This story is about a boy called Seth who can see ghosts and can go back in the past. His best friend Nadiya and she loves history and tells Seth all about it. It is a live story which follows the 2018 World Cup and Tom Palmer relates the chapters to the games. My opinion of the world cup.
Over the last few days, the world cup has taken hold. Thousands of spectators,and in some cases,crazy fantasies, have been crowding into bars, outdoor venus and of course Brazil to cheer their countries team on to victory. I have been a soccer fan forever and always enjoyed watching World Cup games that I would not ordinarily watch under normal circumstances.
When you think about it, in the United States, soccer is not one of the top spectator sports, although it is growing in popularity. Yet, during the days of the World Cup Tournament, the public gets highly engaged in supporting their national teams. Why is that? Why does the World cup attract so many more fans.Let me know in the comments!

In case you didn't know, the World Cup is a competition between several countries, 32 to be exact, in football. The competition is held every 4 years and we are lucky to have it this year. The country's playing are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Ir Iran, Korea Republic, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia and last but not least Uruguay.

They train for 5 days a week! The hours are 4-5 but is that enough for them to be this good. Of course it is otherwise they would be terrible... I mean very terrible. It takes 10000 hours for these footballers stars to become a winner of a team.

The World Cup 2018 is being held in Russia and has many games so far. England had a really good result against Tunisia. People who were supporting England were so happy and proud of there team. Anyway the only thing any football team want to win is the World Cup trophy! Now, you may be thinking how the World Cup trophy even came to existence. Well, the World Cup trophy has the design of a golden football at the top and different types lines coming from it. Since the event in 1930, two trophies were used instead of one. From 1930-1970 the golden trophy started to be used and has been use to this day.

I know a lot of people are really big fans of football but I do have to ask, why is the football or to me kicking around a zebra ball so violent? Well I will say that a big difference between rugby and football is that rugby generally is well lets not speak about that, but at least they try and make it look a lot easier than it is where as football they just try and make it look really hard to make them seem tough. Well back to it. But seriously I just don't understand the point in having a wrestling match on a football field, I mean you wouldn't even get a soft landing!

How do they keep the football grass in good condition

All down to direction of mowing. The mowers blades spin in a particular direction, clockwise or counterclockwise. The spin of the blades then blows the grass in a particular direction. As you may or may not know, grass has a different finish on either side, a glossy side and a matte side.
So if the mower travels in one direction, the blades blow the grass over revealing the glossy side (dark green on the pitch) and when the mower goes the opposite direction, the matte side is left facing up (light green on the pitch).
The groundsmen can get pretty creative in how they cut the grass in order to reveal simple or elaborate patterns on the grass.

On Monday 18 June 2018 England played Tunisia and England had a corner and out of nowhere two Tunisian players rugby tackled two England players two players that got rugby tackled were Harry Kane England's new captain and Jordan Henderson England's old captain.In my opinion I think that Tunisia had a plan to injure England's old and new captain.

I will now tell you why I find football boring. I think football is boring because to me all you do is kick a ball around and shoot in to a goal or sometimes between two bins or something!

In my opinion, i find football boring to watch but fun to play. I'm not saying you have to think the same way, it's just my opinion, if you think that football is fun to watch and fun to play, that is very normal and i don't mind, if you think that me not liking watching football is bad, that is fine with me.
In my opinion, when i was little, like 4 yrs old, i loved watching football, but hated playing it, but now i think otherwise, i find playing football is really fun but watching is is pretty boring, all you watch is people running around, kicking a ball and fake fall overs.
